Haverhill — Ralph W. Thorpe, 68, passed away on July 26, 2013, from cardiac arrest at the Baker-Katz Nursing Home in Haverhill, Mass., where he resided. He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Kathleen (Baltzer) Thorpe.
He was born and raised in Lynn, attended Lynn Public Schools, and studied business at Northeastern University. He was the owner and taught music at the Norfolk County Music School in Hyde Park, Mass., for many years.
Ralph enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, playing keyboards, watching movies, and spending time with his sister.
He is survived by his loving sister, Dorothy Whitten of Haverhill; and his daughter, Jeannine from North Hollywood, Calif.; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald B. Thorpe.
The family extends its sincerest and deepest appreciation to the staff at Baker-Katz Nursing Home in Haverhill for the loving care given to Ralph.
