Pelham, NH — Pearl M. (Swift) Craig, 92, a longtime resident of Pelham, N.H., passed away on November 27, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Craig was born May 24, 1921, in Providence, R.I. She received her education upon moving to the Lawrence area. She was a candy maker for more than 25 years at Silver Sweets Candy on Essex Street in Lawrence.
She had many interests, including dancing, and during the holiday season, spending quality time with her grandchildren.
Pearl was the widow of Walter N. Craig, and is survived by her children, Walter W. Craig and his wife, Mary, of Meritt Island, Fla., James Craig and his wife, Carol, of Duluth Ga., and Donald Craig of Manchester, N.H.; a sister, June Chenard of Methuen, Mass.; grandchildren, Rachael, Stephanie and Lindsey all of Meritt Island, Evan and Jessica of Pelham, and Vanessa of Duluth; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on the morning of Saturday, December 7, at 11:30 a.m., at Saint Patrick’s Church, Pelham, NH. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, Mass.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends will be warmly received on Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Stret, Methuen, Mass.
