North Andover — Claire C. (Sevigny) Fritschy, 93, of North Andover, Mass., passed on Sunday, December 1, 2013, at the Sutton Hill Center in North Andover, with her loving daughter by her side.
Born and educated in Lowell, Mass., she was the daughter of Joseph and Lydia (Morin) Sevigny. For more than 30 years, she was a seamstress with Robert and Leonard Clothing in Lowell.
Claire was a member of the International Ladies Garment Union. She enjoyed reading, sewing and doing crafts, spending time with her grandchildren, and attending all of the family celebrations.
The widow of John Fritschy, she is survived by her daughter, Lydia Crabtree and her husband, William, of North Andover; grandchildren, Thomas and Emily Crabtree, also of North Andover; and several nieces and nephews.
Claire was predeceased by her five sisters, Yvette, Doris, Gertrude, Annette, and Jean; and her five brothers, Hector, Leo, Roland, Armand, and Maurice.

Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Thursday, December 5, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, Mass. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 6, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Michael’s Church in North Andover. Burial will be private, and at the convenience of the family.
