Seabrook, NH — Priscilla J. (Jackson) Nolet, 90, died Sunday June 9, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation–Brigham Manor in Newburyport.
Priscilla was born June 24, 1922, in Lawrence, Mass., the daughter of Thomas E. and Priscilla (Illingworth) Jackson. She was a 1939 graduate of Lawrence High School. She worked in the office at Inglewood Cemetery Inglewood, Calif., from 1954 to 1974. She then worked from 1976 to 1989, and retired as a switchboard operator from the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant .
Priscilla was very committed to helping the WW II veterans with knitting clothing and service men overseas. She loved music, as well as animals.
Priscilla was the widow of Arthur J. Nolet, who died in 1974. Mrs Nolet was also predeceased by her brothers, Thomas H. and Albert D. Jackson; her sisters, Maud Jenkins and Margaret E. Arnold; and her nephew Keith Burgiel.
Mrs. Nolet is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Maureen Jackson.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends will be warmly received on Thursday morning from 8 to 9 a.m., at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 9 a.m., in the funeral home, with burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
