Salem, NH — Jerry A. Cerullo, 89, of Salem, N.H., passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, following a brief illness at Holy Family Hospital. Jerry was born in Lawrence, and was the son of the late Andrew and Carolina (DeFilice) Cerullo. Jerry was educated in Lawrence Schools.
Jerry was a member of several local social clubs. In his youth, he was an avid music enthusiast who followed the big bands of the 40s whenever they were in the area. He was a collector of sports memorabilia and a fan of the Yankees. Spending time with his family and friends were his greatest joy. Jerry worked as an independent land surveyor for 60 years in the Lawrence area with various companies.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 67 years, Agnes M. (DiPrima) Cerullo, of Salem, N.H.; his son, Andrew J. Cerullo, of Salem; two granddaughters, Tara Hazeltine and Ashley Cerullo; three great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Anthony and Angelo; and several nieces and nephews. Jerry was predeceased by his son, Gerald J. Cerullo, and his brothers, Joseph and Patrick Cerullo.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends will be received at visiting hours on Wednesday, June 12, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. His Funeral Service will take place Thursday, June 13, at 10 a.m., at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
