Fremont, NH — Cecelia I. (Mailloux) Chapinsky, 88, of Fremont, N.H., passed away Saturday, June 8, at Exeter Hospital.
She was born in Dorchester, April 6, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Philomena (Drapeau) Mailloux. Her family moved to Haverhill when she was young, and Mrs. Chapinsky was educated in the Haverhill school system. She was employed as a stitcher for Eastern Canvas and as an assembler for Frequency Devices. Mrs. Chapinsky was a member of the American Legion Post 34, Plaistow, N.H.
Mrs. Chapinsky was the wife of the late John C. Tilton, who died in 1971, and mother of the late Philip Tilton, who died in 1972.
Her survivors include her husband of 30 years, John Chapinsky of Fremont, N.H.; three sons, John C. and his wife, Donna, Tilton of Plaistow, N.H., Gary R. and his wife, Jackie, Tilton of Somersworth, N.H., Paul R. and his wife, Nancy, Tilton of Nottingham, N.H.; a sister, Mary Skafas of Hampstead, N.H.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: At her request, funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family, with interment in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements are by H.L.
