Methuen, MA — Leo Michael Morel, 69, of Methuen, passed away on December 24, 2012 at his home in Methuen.
Mike was born, raised and educated in Lawrence. He served with the United States Navy where he was stationed on the U.S.S. Thetis Bay during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He worked at I.T.T. Semiconductors in Lawrence and then at I.T.T. Components in N. Andover where he was a Distributor Sales Manager. He most recently worked for Hewlett Packard prior to his retirement. In his free time Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting and cars.
Mike leaves his loving wife of 27 years, Rosemary (Agazarian) Morel, of Methuen, his three sons, Michael Morel of Methuen, Matthew Morel of Methuen and Chad Morel and his wife Gayla of Lincoln, CA, a sister, Karen Suzor and her husband Ronald of Methuen, mother-in-law, Jacqueline Agazarian of Methuen, a nephew, Ryan Suzor and his wife Lisa of Salisbury, a great-nephew, Rylan and many dear friends. He is predeceased by a brother, Paul Morel.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 28th at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A Funeral Service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Bellevue Cemetery at a later date.
