Carol A. (Dangora) McInnis, 75

North Andover, MA — Carol Ann Dangora McInnis, 75, of Bonita Springs, FL, and Brewster, MA, formerly a long-time resident of North Andover, passed away peacefully January 3, 2013, surrounded by her husband and daughters overlooking her beloved Cape Cod Bay.

Carol was born on March 1, 1937 in Boston to the late James W. and Mary (Flaherty) Dangora. She was raised in Medford, MA, graduated from St. Clement’s High School, Somerville, MA, and earned Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Salem State College. In addition to raising four daughters, Carol enjoyed a career in teaching and spent many years working with her husband at McInnis Law Offices.

Carol had a passion for playing bridge with her many close friends in North Andover and Florida, golfing and traveling with her husband, and reading good books. Her greatest joy, however, was spending summers on the Brewster beaches with her family.

She is survived by her much-loved and devoted family: her husband of 51 years, Atty. James J. McInnis, and her daughters and their husbands, Atty. Marybeth McInnis (Stephen Boucher), of North Andover, Atty. Susan M. Leonard (James), of London, U.K., Kristen M. Clark (John), of Cranford, NJ, and Carolyn M. DiGiammo (Joseph), of Andover. “Cammie” will be greatly missed by her precious grandchildren, Matthew and Christina Leonard, Elisa and James DiGiammo, and Meghan Clark.

Other survivors include her brother, Atty. James T. Dangora (Pauline), of Billerica, MA, and her sisters-in-law, Sr. Anne Marie McInnis, OCD, of Barrington, RI, and Joan Namvar (Arde) and Mary Holahan of Sun City West, AZ, her “Flaherty” cousins, nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends.

Carol’s family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Judy Garber and her team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for their years of care and friendship.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to greet the family at Conte Funeral Home, 17 3rd Street, North Andover, MA 01845 on Thursday, January 10, 2013, from 4-7, and to attend a Funeral Mass to celebrate Carol’s life at St. Michael’s, 196 Main St. North Andover,MA 01845 on January 11, 2013 at 11:00AM. Burial at a later date will be private.

Methuen — Debby passed away peacefully on Sunday at The Merrimack Valley Hospice House. She was the daughter of the late Luigi and Marie Perrino of Reading, Mass. She enjoyed working with the elderly and any activity that would involve her family, which included going out for dinner, shopping, and spending time with the grandchildren. Her surviving family members include her loving children, Lisa O'Keefe and husband, Christopher of Raymond, N.H., Jennifer Pardoen and husband, David of Methuen, Mass.; and grandchildren, Abbey and Zoe, Pardoen and Zachary and Madison Laliberte. She leaves behind brothers, Luis Perrino and wife, Linda of Peabody, Mass., and Earle Perrino of New Hampshire. Debby also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Irene Golden, 86

Groveland, MA — Irene (Belanger) Golden, 86, of Groveland, formerly of Lawrence and North Andover, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 15, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Leda (Matton) Belanger, and was one of nine children. Irene was a graduate of the former McIntosh Business School in Lawrence, and later was employed by the Textile Workers Union CIO for 10 years, prior to staying home to raise her family. Upon returning to the business world, she was employed as the administrative assistant to the president of the former Arlington Trust Company in Lawrence. She retired in 1987, after 26 years of service, and spent her later years making quilts for her family, friends and homeless shelters.

Portland, Maine — Joseph Nunes Herdade, 95, of Salem, N.H., died June 15.

Joseph was born in Brazil and raised in Newark, N.J., after his family emigrated from Portugal. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was an engineer with Raytheon Service Co., and upon retiring in his 70s, he enjoyed gardening, yard and barn work at the house, reading, PBS programming, classical music, art, politics, history, and sports. In recent years, he was a resident of the Osher Inn of Portland, Maine.
