Debra D'Agata, 59

Methuen — Debra A. D’Agata, 59, of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 7, 2013 at her home. She was born on August 29th, 1963 in Methuen to Joseph and the late Annette (Viglione) D’Agata. Debra spent her early childhood residing in Methuen before attending the Walter E. Fernald School in Waltham. She later transferred to Fidelity House Human Services in Lawrence and Methuen where she resided for most of her adult life. She worked for American Training for many years and attended the Nevins Adult Day Health Center in Methuen.

Debra enjoyed singing, dancing, bowling and spending time at Salisbury Beach. We will cherish the time we spent during the many family cookouts, where Debra loved to swim in the family pool. She was a very happy-go-lucky person. Her smile always lit up the room. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and best friend to Deborah Silva, and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Debra is survived by her father, Joseph S. D’Agata of Plaistow, NH. She is also survived by her siblings, Brenda D’Agata of Johnson City, NY, Glenn D’Agata and wife Patricia of Methuen, Linda Aro of Atkinson, NH, Brian D’Agata and wife Tracy of Methuen, and Melissa Piraino and husband James of Haverhill. She was predeceased by her mother Annette R. D’Agata of Plaistow, NH. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her dear friends at Fidelity House, whom the family is so grateful for.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends will be received at visiting hours on Monday January 14th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Cataudella Funeral Home 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. Her Funeral Mass will take place Monday at 1:00pm at Corpus Christi Parish in Holy Rosary Church 35 Essex St. Lawrence. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery Lawrence.

Andover, MA — Jonathan G. Leonard of Andover passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 21, at the age of 39. He was the loving son of Dr. Thomas and Lois Leonard of Andover; and beloved brother to Russell Leonard, Dr. Jeffrey Leonard, and Suzanne Vazquez; brother in-law to Dr. Angel Gangoy-Leonard and Osvaldo Vazquez; and proud uncle of Dylan and Matthew Leonard, and Oliver, Samuel, and Amelia Vazquez. He was employed at Stop and Shop where he had been a loyal employee for over 10 years. He was very active in the Special Olympics and he won numerous medals and trophies in different events through the years. He was also involved in several local bowling leagues and enjoyed spending his free time with his girlfriend, Tina, and his large group of friends from the area.

Reading, formerly of Lawrence — Helen D. (DeFusco) Rickley of Reading, formerly of Lawrence, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Helen was predeceased by her parents, Pasqualina (Miele) and Alexander, and her sister, Evelyn. Helen had a beauty of character and personality that was noticed by everyone she met. She devoted her life to raising and loving her family. She also devoted a good part of her life to her parish church and the elementary school children of Reading at Pearl Street and Killam Schools. She served as a volunteer teacher’s aide at the two schools for almost 30 years. She served at St. Athanasius in the old Arts and Crafts group and sang in the church choir for almost 35 years.

Atkinson, NH — Charliene P. Moore died May 16, 2013, in Pleasant Valley, N.H., after a long illness from cancer. She was born in Cambridge, Mass., on Aug. 16, 1945, daughter of the late Pearl and Charles Moore. She grew up in Everett, Mass., and graduated from Malden High. Charliene worked at the IRS for 20 years and for Securitas Services where her security assignments included stints at Sweetheart Plastics, Hewlitt Packard and Global Insights. She fought a long, hard battle with cancer and through it all loved her co-workers and friends. Charliene is survived by her longtime companion, Linda McAdams of Atkinson, N.H., and “Mac,” her furry little friend.
