William P. "Bill" Lawrence, Jr., 74

Lawrence, MA — William P. "Bill" Lawrence, Jr., 74, a resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the E.N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, MA.

Born in Malden, MA, Bill was raised in Saugus, MA, and educated in the Saugus Schools. Bill had worked in several high tech companies through the years. He was both a United States Marine Corps and Army Veteran having served 12 years of active service and 11 years of reserve service. Bill had also served as a Drummer in the United States Army Band. He was a member of the Lawrence Lodge of Elks B.P.O.E #65.

The son of the late William P. Sr., and Olive M. (Jacobsen) Lawrence, family members include:

his wife of 21 years: Rose (Lamontagne) Lawrence,

brothers: Thomas of Saugus, MA, and Steven of Haverhill, MA, as well as his brother-in-law and best friend Leo Lamontagne, Sr. of Lawrence, MA.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 3 to 7 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. A Funeral Service will be held following the calling hours at 7:00 P.M.
