Edward N. Sabbagh, 94

Wilmington — Edward N. Sabbagh, 94, formerly of Stoneham, Ma, died January 24, 2013 at the Woodbriar in Wilmington, Ma.

Edward was born June 28, 1918 in Lawrence, Ma to the late Najeeb and Naify (Maloof) Sabbagh.

Edward was predeceased by his wife Linda (Saliba) Sabbagh.

He was a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Class of 1940. In his early career he was a professor at the Lowell Technological Institute and later he pursued a career in atmospheric sciences in Greater Boston. He served during WW II with the USAAF (1942-1946) as a Weather Officer in the Pacific area. He leaves three children, Marilyn S. Black, Lynne Shook and Edward M. Sabbagh, six grandchildren and relatives locally and beyond.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call at the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence St., Andover, Ma on Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30 . A funeral service will be held at Christ Church in Andover at 1 p.m. on Saturday
