Donald A. Cunningham, 64


Haverhill — Donald A. Cunningham, 64, of Haverhill, died Monday, February 4, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late, Donald N. and Louise (Lemieux) Cunningham. Educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of St. James Grammar School, and Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1965. Shortly after graduation he enlisted into the U.S. Navy. A Vietnam Veteran, he proudly served from 1965 until being honorably discharged in 1969.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and won many awards for his hunting skills. He was a member of the Haverhill Rod and Gun Club, and the Bow Hunting Club of Lamprey River. He also remembered fondly the days he coached his daughters in their softball league.

He leaves his wife of forty-seven years, Judy A. Cunningham, of Haverhill, two sons, Michael A. Cunningham, of Haverhill, and David J. and his wife, Karen, of Danville, NH, two daughters, Kristi L. Cunningham, and Melisa A. Cunningham, both of Haverhill, twelve grandchildren, Britney, Amanda, Megan, Anthony, Allison, Jordan, Jesse, Ravenn, Angel, Mollymae, Lauren, and Chase, three great grandchildren, Jaevian, Parker, and Natyllie. He was predeceased by a great granddaughter, Yazmin.

ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill.
