Joan (McAree) Harding, 59

Methuen — Joan (McAree) Harding, 59, of Methuen passed away unexpectedly Friday evening at Holy Family Hospital. Born in Lowell to William and Lorraine (Sawyer) McAree of Andover, Joan graduated from Andover High School and earned a B.S. in Nursing from Saint Anselm College.

Joan served as a registered nurse for many years in various settings, including Maplewood Place Senior Living in Malden, Ashland Farm in North Andover, and most recently at American Training in Lowell. Joan was a long-time parishioner of St. Monica’s Church.

Joan is survived by her parents, as well as her husband of 30 years, Michael J. Harding of Methuen, her son John M. Harding and fiancée Sarah E. MacKay of Somerville, her daughter Kristen E. Harding and Daniel J. Beauchemin of Methuen, her sister Lisa McAree of Boston, her sister Susan E. McAree and husband Karl L. Kraus of Medford, along with a large extended family.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends will be received at visiting hours on Tuesday, February 19th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. Monica’s Church, 214 Lawrence St., Methuen. Burial services will be private.
