Eleanor Vittorioso, 80

Methuen — Eleanor (Camasso) Vittorioso, 80, of Methuen passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Halcyon House in Methuen surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Assunta (DiZazzo) Camasso.

Eleanor was raised and educated in Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School class of 1951. She married her high school sweetheart Andrew Vittorioso who passed away in 2008 and shared 54 years of marriage.

Eleanor was a lifelong parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church and was a member of the St. Rita’s Sodality for many years. She worked for many years for Paul Sullivan Sportswear as a seamstress and later worked and retired from Raytheon, West Andover.

Eleanor was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She enjoyed painting, bowling, dancing and listening to Frank Sinatra.

Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Gail Laviolette, Audrey Michaud and her husband Philip, and Lisa Fowler and her husband Michael all of Plaistow, NH; her son, Guy Vittorioso and his wife Susan (Guzuski) of Salem, NH; her sisters, Jenny D’Agustino of Salem, NH, Celia Parisi of Lawrence, and Sylvia Leone of Methuen; her brother, John Camasso and his wife Loretta of Lawrence; her brother in law, David Vittorioso of Lawrence and her sister in law, Lyra Camasso of Methuen. She also leaves 9 grandchildren, 1great- grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Cataudella Funeral Home 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday at St. Monica’s Church 214 Lawrence St. Methuen. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
