Barnstable, MA — Eeda Jill Belkin, 66, of Barnstable Village, died on August 8, 2013. She passed away peacefully and gracefully, surrounded by family. She died having fought with courage and strength, and humor, in a valiant battle with lymphoma and leukemia. The path of her life is an inspiration.
She was the beloved wife of Mark Belkin, and the daughter of the late Buck and Fran Mondlin of Roosevelt, N.J. Eeda Jill graduated from Hightstown High School in New Jersey. She also graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, and then graduated from Franklin Pierce Law School. She was a talented artist and craftsperson.
Eeda Jill was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who love her.
In addition to her husband of 45 years, Mark, Eeda Jill is survived by two children, Natalie Belkin Freedman and husband, Ken, of Sandwich, and Greg Belkin and wife, Kristin, of Fitchburg; her brother, Ken Mondlin of Florid; her sister, Sozeen Mondlin Sullivan of Virginia; four grandchildren, Brian, Evan, Samantha, and Jenna; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Marcia Katz.
