South Hiram, ME — Ann Marie Silva, 58, of South Hiram, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully Sunday, June 30, 2013, as a result of a stroke at Maine Medical Center. She was born to the late Clarence Billie Roy Sr. and Lucille Ouellette on December 21, 1954, in Caribou, Maine where she spent the early part of her life growing up. She would later move to Lawrence, Mass., where at the age of 16 she pursued an interest in cosmetology. Ann would later achieve her GED and attend Fazio’s School of Cosmetology in Lawrence, Mass. Ann excelled in the program and would later receive achievement after achievement for her work. Throughout the years Ann held her Cosmetology license and owned and operated local salons in Kezar Falls, Cornish and Standish.
Ann is predeceased by her parents, Clarence Billie Roy Sr. and Lucille Ouellette. She is survived by her husband, Paul; sons, Chris, Paul, Cort, Joshua, Ryan, Mickey and Jamie; 2 daughters, Jamie Lynn and Tiffany; and granddaughter, Natasha; grandsons, Jacob and CJ; stepmother, Lucille Roy; a sister, Barbara Wilson and family; brothers, Clarence Billie Roy Jr. and Michael Roy and family, all of Lawrence, Mass.; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be on Sunday, July 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Watson, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish, Maine. A funeral Mass will be on Monday, July 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 19 Dora Lane, Limerick.
