North Reading — Carol L. (Roache) Daniels, 81, of North Reading, formerly of Wakefield and Woburn, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at the Salemhaven Nursing Home, in Salem, N.H. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph V. Daniels.
Born in Cambridge, Mass., on March 24,1932, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lillian (Chute) Roache. She was raised and attended school in Woburn. Carol has been a resident of North Reading for the past 45 years.
Carol worked for Compugraphic in Wilmington as a photo technician for over 25 years, and has been retired for the past 19 years. She was also a former employee of the Raytheon Co. in Andover.
Carol was known for her loving and giving ways, and always had a great love for her family and friends. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and was a member of a local sewing club.
Family members include her loving daughter, Gail M. Daigle and her husband, Roland, of Salem, N.H.; sons, John J. Daniels of North Reading, Paul M. Daniels and his wife, Cherie, of Portsmouth, N.H., and Michael R. Daniels and his wife, Carly, of Woburn; sisters, Phyllis O’Neil of Methuen and her late husband, Joseph, and the late Gail Roache; brothers, Robert Roache and his wife, Marilyn, of Lawrence, and Ned Roache and his wife, Joann, of Laconia, N.H.; and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., North Reading, on Thursday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 4 to 7:30 p.m. croswellfuneralhome.com.
