Lawrence, Massachusetts — Robert A. Cantwell, 85, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at the Lowell General Hospital.
He was born on August 1, 1928, in Lawrence, son of the late William and Mary (Lagoff) Cantwell. Robert served in the United States Army. He worked as a security guard for the Everett Mills in Lawrence, Massachusetts and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Saint Augustine’s Chapel on the Hill, also in Lawrence. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Red Sox Team.
He is survived by his niece and caretaker, Teresa C. Fitzgerald of Hudson, NH, as well as several other nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by 5 brothers, James, Edward, William, John, Frank and 6 sisters, Florence, Veronica, Connie, Isabelle, Margaret and Rita.
