Derry, NH — Albert J. Frasca, 90, of Derry, N.H., died on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mr. Frasca was born, raised and educated in Lawrence and had lived in Derry for the past 25 years. Before his retirement, he worked as a custodian for the Methuen School Department. Al served with the U.S. Navy during WWII in The Pacific Theatre. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed going to Rockingham Race Track and visits to Foxwoods Casino.
The widower of Shirley (Rother) Frasca, his family members include his daughters, Carol and her husband, Guy Lombardi, of Hampstead, N.H., and Dorothy Heinrich of Atkinson, N.H. He leaves his sisters, Mary Filz of Lawrence and Rita Frasca of Methuen; and his grandchildren, A.J. and his wife, Kari Boucher, Bryan and his wife, Jackie Boucher, Rebecca Heinrich, Kimberly and her husband, Joe Errico, and Cherie and her husband, Dennis Stastio. Al also leaves 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be on Friday, July 19, 2013, from 9 to 11 a.m. at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
