Andover — Maria Longo, 42, of Andover, Mass., passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19, at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill, Mass., surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lawrence, Mass., attended Holy Rosary School, was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lawrence, Class of 1989, and a graduate of Merrimack College.
Maria was employed by Thompson Reuters in Boston, for the past 14 years. She was a devoted mother, daughter and sister, and loved spending time with her two children.
Members of her family include her children, Constantine L. Angeles III and Nicholas J. Angeles; her mother and father, Lidia and Giuseppe Longo; her sister and brother-in-law, Sabrina and Eric Gallant; her brother, Anthony J. Longo; nieces, Samantha and Lillian Gallant; aunt, Josephine Longo; cousins, Anthony Longo, Rita Siegel, Gina Phanuef, and their husbands and children; uncles and aunts, Alfio and Giuseppina, Manteria and Giuseppe, and Francesca Manteria, of Catania, Italy; close family friends, Salvatore and Zoila Erna, Carlos, and Gloria Hayon, and their children; many other aunts, uncles, and cousins in Sicily, Italy; and her longtime companion and father of her two children, Constantine L. Angeles Jr.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, July 26, at 10 a.m., in the Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, Lawrence. Interment will follow in West Parish Cemetery, Andover. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover.
