Dorothy Mae Lafreniere, 94

Lawrence — Dorothy Mae Lafreniere, 94, of Lawrence, passed away on November 20, 2012 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Center in Lawrence.

Dorothy was born to the late Fred and Freda (Appleyard) Hall and she was raised and educated in Methuen. She was a 1936 graduate of Searles High School. She was employed at Bolta Rubber Company in Lawrence as an office manager for over 24 years, prior to her retirement. Dorothy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and also an associate member of the Kittery United Methodist Church in Kittery, Maine. In her free time, she enjoyed needlework and time with family.

Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Rene J. Lafreniere. She leaves her daughter, Carol Claus and her husband, Edward of York Beach, Maine; a son, Ronald Lafreniere and his wife, Theresa of Derry, N.H.; three grandchildren, Dale Claus and his wife, Amy, Joel Claus and his wife, Gina Cottom and Tracy Claus and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held in the Spring at the Methodist Church in Kittery, Maine. Burial of ashes will be private in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
