Pelham, NH — Adam Wolf, 77, of Pelham, died Sunday, June, 22, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, with his loving family by his side, following an extended illness. He was the beloved husband of Marie E. (Lutz) Wolf, with whom he celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on January 21, 2014.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, on August 7, 1936, he was a son of the late Adam and the late Terez (Scizk) Wolf.
Before retiring, Adam was employed as a mechanical draftsman with the A.W. Chesterton Co. in Groveland, Mass., for many years. Previously, he worked at ITT Semiconductor in Lawrence, Mass.
Among his many activities, Adam was an avid sports fan, especially of tennis and soccer. He always looked forward to, and never missed, watching the Summer and Winter Olympics. One of his favorite pastimes was going to Rockingham Park Race Track in Salem, N.H. He also particularly enjoyed his monthly gatherings with his Hungarian friends. But above all else, being all about family, he loved spending quality time with his family.
In addition to his wife Marie, Adam is survived by two daughters, Kathylyn “Kat” Nolin and her husband, Darren, of North Port, Fla., and Belinda Wolf of Methuen, Mass.; four grandchildren, Adam W. Nolin, Avery M. Nolin, Mitchell A. Canavan, and Caleb Canavan; and a brother, Jeno Wolf and his wife, Hennie, of Budapest, Hungary.
