Haverhill — Kevin Joseph McCarty, 32, raised in Methuen, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Sunday, July 13, 2014. He was born in Lawrence on September 15, 1981. Kevin enjoyed the outdoors. He loved animals, fishing and spending time at the beach. He also loved sports, particularly football, wrestling, baseball, and basketball, and was a fan of all the Boston teams. Kevin loved music and to dance. He was known by many for his sense of humor, big heart, friendship, and kind concern for others less fortunate.
He will be lovingly missed and fondly remembered by his survivors, daughter, Akiera McCarty, of Merrimac; father, Thomas F. McCarty Jr. of North Andover; mother, Tricia Laorenza of Haverhill; brothers and their wives, Jason and Michelle McCarty of Sandown, N.H., Ryan and Rebecca McCarty of Bradford; sister, Kaileigh Hintlian of Winthrop; and nieces, Ryleigh, Hayden and Tatum. Kevin was predeceased by his nephew, Jack McCarty.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Thursday, July 17, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Cataudella Funeral Home 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. A service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, July 18, at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
