Manchester, NH — Angelina M. DiDonato, 92, of Manchester, N.H., passed on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, Manchester. Mrs. DiDonato was born in Lawrence, Mass., on September 20, 1921,and was a daughter of the late Michael and Michelina (Cocchiaro) Spinelli. She had resided at Mt. Carmel for the past year and a half, formerly living in Londonderry, N.H., for many years. She enjoyed walking, crocheting and needlework. She loved gardening and was very proud of her perennials. Mrs. DiDonato also enjoyed cooking, baking and hosting parties. It was always “open house” at Mom and Dad’s house, and she could stretch a meal to feed the flocks. She also enjoyed baking for the Londonderry Firefighters. She was described as “Fiesty,” once having wanted to take part in a protest to boycott veal in front of a local supermarket. She was compassionate and quite the conversationalist. She had a profound faith in God and loved to read her Bible. Most of all, her family was everything to her. The family wishes to thank the staff at Mt. Carmel for the sensational care they gave to Angelina.
