Haverhill — Louise H. (Gulubicky) Jones, 89, of Haverhill, died on Wednesday, February 26, at her home.
She was born in South Boston on March 19, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Louise (Swiacki) Gulubicky.
At the age of 6, Mrs. Jones’ family moved to Haverhill. She was educated in the Haverhill School System and attended Haverhill High School.
Louise worked for many years in the Haverhill shoe industry, working at both Ornstein Shoe and Allen Shoe. She was also employed for a short time at Western Electric.
Mrs. Jones was a member of Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul A. Jones, who died in 1991; and three brothers, Edward, Joseph and Stanley Gulubicky.
Her survivors include, a daughter, Debbie J. Tomaselli of Haverhill; a son, George F. Jones and his wife, Shannon, of Manchester, N.H.; four grandchildren, Paul A. Tomaselli Sr. and his wife, April, of Groveland, Tricia A. Harrington and her husband, Michael, of Virginia, and Nicholas and Lindsey Jones, of Manchester; six great-grandchildren, Paul Jr., Brianna, Faith, Joshua, Nathan, and Madelyn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday morning, March 6, at 11 a.m., at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial will follow in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
