North Andover, MA — Joseph W. Mulvey, 89, a resident of North Andover, Mass., passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014, at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center in Lawrence.
Born in North Andover, Joe was educated in the North Andover schools. He had first worked as a school bus driver for the North Andover schools, and then went on to work for both Central Service Station and J and T Auto in North Andover for many years. Joe enjoyed going to classic car shows, as well as taking trips to the beach. He was known for having quite the sweet tooth.
Joe was the son of the late Joseph and Mae (Ward) Mulvey, as well as brother to the late Nancy Mulvey. He is survived by his first cousins, Joan Finn-Fisher and Suzanne Hromada Brinster; and his other cousins, Lee Gessing Briggs, Robert Gessing, Jennifer Fields, and Erica Gessing; and extended family.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 6, at 11 a.m., at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack St., North Andover. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery, also in North Andover. Family and friends are invited to call, prior to the services on Thursday morning, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
