Salem, NH — Evelyn J. (Abreu) Boyd, 78, of Salem, N.H., died Friday, June 14, at Salemhaven in Salem, N.H. Evelyn grew up in Cambridge and Somerville, and attended Somerville High School. She was a resident of Salem for over 40 years. Evelyn was an avid New England sports fan, especially her Red Sox and Patriots. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Evelyn was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Francis Woodman Boyd. She is survived by her loving daughters, Robyn and her husband, Michael Loomis of Salem, N.H., and Lynda and her husband, Christopher Wendel of Palm Beach, Fla.; and her absolute pride and joy, her three adoring grandchildren, Michael Boyd Loomis, Nicholas Patrick Loomis and Christopher F. Wendel.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be Friday, June 21, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, N.H. The Memorial Mass will be Saturday, at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Church, Salem.
