East Hampstead, NH — Ryan C. Crowley, 41, of East Hampstead, passed away Wednesday, June 19, at Massachusetts General Hospital after being stricken with a heart attack 10 days prior. Ryan was born in Methuen, and was the son of David H. Crowley and Donna (Ristem) Homsey. Ryan was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1990. Ryan was employed as a field technician for Verizon out of the Methuen office for the past 13 years, and a committed member of IBEW Local 2321 Union.
Anyone that ever knew Ryan loved him. Family gatherings were always filled with his laughter; he lived life to the fullest. He was a committed family man and is his daughter’s prince. Ryan was a loyal, loving husband and father, and remained a rock through several family challenges.
A man’s man who loved life and sports, his lawn and truck were kept immaculate and a source of pride. He enjoyed competition whether playing hearts with family and friends, or cheering on our local sports teams. An avid golfer, he enjoyed playing anytime, especially with the Hickory Hill Golf League. One of his proudest moments was winning third place in the 2008 Robert F. Kennedy Golf Tournament.
Ryan is survived by his wife, Heather (Merrill) Crowley; his two young children, daughter, Paige, 6, and Brayden, 3, all of East Hampstead; his parents, Donna M. Homsey of Salem, N.H., and his father, David Crowley and his wife, Dorothy of Lynnfield; his brother, Keith Crowley and his wife, Christina of Salem; his father-in-law, Bob Merrill of Tewksbury; sister-in-law, Bridget Garabedian and her husband, Michael of Tewksbury; his nieces, Tianna Crowley, Hazel, Jane, and Vera Garabedian; and a nephew, Niko Crowley;and his aunt and uncle Terese( Ristem) Ricupero, and David Crowley.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends will be received at visiting hours on Monday, June 24, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Those who wish to attend Ryan’s Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, June 25, at 11 a.m., at St. Anne Catholic Church 26 Emerson Avenue Hampstead, N.H., are asked to gather directly at the church. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
