Salem, NH, formerly of Andover — Judith P. (McLean) York, 66, of Salem, N.H., formerly of Andover, passed away Monday, June 24, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lawrence, and was the daughter of the late John M. and Janice (Zerbe) McLean.
Judy was raised and educated in Andover and was a graduate of Andover High School. She worked in the medical billing department for Lawrence General Hospital Anesthesia and Lowell General Hospital Anesthesia.
Judy was known for her strong faith in God, and that faith brought her immeasurable peace in the face of her recent illness. Judy loved her family deeply and had many friends that she considered her extended family.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, George W. York III; her son, Christopher M. York and his wife, Rachel of Salem; her daughter, Susan L. Smith and her husband, Jeff of Salem; her brother, Robert C. McLean and his wife, Joke of Andover; and her grandchildren, George, Delaney, Jack, and Brady. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, June 27, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m., Friday, June 28, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
