Danvers & Methuen — Anthony R. Borzi, 75, of Danvers, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at North Shore Medical Center in Salem. He was born in Lawrence and was the son of the late Angelo and Agatina (Rapisardi) Borzi.
Mr. Borzi was raised and educated in Lawrence. He worked for many years as a mason in the greater Merrimack Valley area. He was also a co-owner of CITGO Gas Station in Salisbury and owned Tony’s Deli in Seabrook, N.H.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine (Ingalls) Borzi of Danvers; his children, Anthony and his wife, Jayne, of Carver, Michael of Bradford, Kim Borzi and her fiancé, Richard Gill, of Georgetown and Patrick and his wife, Gretchen, of Merrimac; his former wife, Gail of Salisbury; his sisters, Ann Pirro, Josephine Gianni and her husband, Jack, all of Florida and Sr. Rose Marie Borzi of Worcester. Anthony also leaves 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandchild, Brittney.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, September 20, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence. Private burial will be at a later date.
