Andover — Dora G. (Pacione) Dandreta, 95, formerly of Andover, died on Tuesday at The Stone Institute in Newton, Mass.
Dora was born in North Falls, N.Y., on August 13,1918, to Gabriel and Ida (BellaRosa) Pacione.
Dora worked for several years at Claytons and Furriers on Essex Street in Lawrence, as a sales associate, and was a volunteer at Holy Family Hospital.
She was an artist and enjoyed painting in oils, exhibiting her artwork at the Lawrence Library as part of the Pennisi Art Studio Pupils’ Exhibit. Dora was an avid golfer and was a charter member of the Indian Ridge County Club in Andover.
The widow of Alexander J. Dandreta, she is survived by her daughters, Alexis Dandreta and her husband, Stephen Gulo of Dover, Mass., and Lois Lynch and her husband, Thomas, of South Dartmouth, Mass.; her son, Alexander J. Dandreta of Manchester, N.H.; and her sister ,Flora D. Agata of Pennsylvania; her four grandchildren, Colleen Pritone, Randal Lynch, Lauren Knapp, and Jamie Levi; five great-grandchildren, Megan Pritoni, Will Pritoni, Liam Knapp, Owen Knapp and Jacob Levi; and several nieces and nephews. Dora was predeceased by her brother, Will Pacione; and her sister, Mary Tucci of Lawrence.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be offered on Thursday, at 11 a.m., at the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Lawrence.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home, prior to the service.
