LAWRENCE - Mary (DiSalvo) Tudisco, 86, died on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008 at Academy Manor in Andover.

    Agnes H. (Kellom) Cardillo, 98, of Methuen, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Nevin’s Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.

    Agnes was born, raised and educated in Methuen and has been a lifelong resident. She dedicated her life to her family and her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    Carmelia M. (Sousa) Mota, 74, of Georgetown, formerly of Cambridge, died Friday, February 10, at the Oxford Nursing Home, in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family.

    Born in the Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late, Luis DeSousa and Hirondina (Pacheco). Raised and educated in Portugal, she immigrated to the United States and settled in Cambridge in 1975. She recently relocated to this area with her daughter, Anabela, and her grandchildren.

    Elmer Frederick "Duke" Heinlein, 91, of Avon, CT, beloved husband of Eunice Whitney Heinlein, passed over to eternal joy on February 4, 2012.

    He was predeceased by his son, Robert F. Heinlein of Haverhill, MA. He was grandfather to Lily E. Roth-Heinlein of Narragansett, RI and Andrew F. Roth-Heinlein of Baltimore, MD. He also leaves daughter-in-law, Jane Roth of Kingston, NH. He was father to Heidi and James M. Archibald.

    Mrs. Jane E. (Turner) Cole, 77, of Atkinson, NH, died peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.

    Born in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Catherine (Leatham) Turner. Raised in Richmond, VA, she attended Richmond Business College. She worked as a Secretary at the University of Maine and was the longtime Administrative Assistant to the Atkinson Board of Selectman until her retirement in 1991. She was the correspondent for the Town of Atkinson, first for the Haverhill Gazette and later for the Plaistow News. She also was the author of a weekly column for the Eagle Tribune entitled “The Coal Bin” and author of the book, “Atkinson, Then and Now”.

    Beloved wife of Joseph Nistico of Wilmington, devoted mother of Linda Klier and her husband Peter of Cohasset, Catherine Giberti and her husband John of Marshfield, and Christopher Nistico of Gainsville, VA, loving "Por Por" of Julia, Natalie, and Joseph Klier, Caroline and John Giberti, cherished daughter of the late Chin Dong Ying and Rose (Leung) Shee Chin, dear sister of Major Henry Young of Yarmouthport, June Wong of Needham, Maya Yao of California, Virginia Aspesi of New York, and the late Pauline Wang, Marjorie Wey, Helen Wong, and Stanley Chin Ying, sister-in-law of Lydia Parolisi of Tewksbury. Mildred is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

    William J. McNamara, 79, of Lawrence, MA, passed away on February 9, 2012 at his home, following a brief illness.

    Bill was born in Lawrence. He attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School and Central Catholic High School. After High School, Bill joined the Marist Brothers in New York where he went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree from Marist College, eventually obtaining his Master’s Degree in Education from Fordham University. Bill taught at several Marist Brother’s Schools throughout New York and then at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence. He worked for over 25 years at Chelmsford High School where he retired as Senior Guidance Counselor in 1992.

Born on June 15,1916, she was the daughter of Frederick and Lena (Renner) Hatton. Doris was educated in the Lawrence school system and graduated from Lawrence High School. She worked in the textile industry and later at DASA in Andover until her retirement.

    Adrianne S. Fiore, 40 of Tiverton, RI, passed away on Monday, Feb 6th, 2012 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.   She was the wife of John J. Fiore. Born in Atkinson, NH, she was the daughter of (former Eagle-Tribune reporter) Lois-Mae (Hicks) and Vincent Marchand. She is a graduate of Timberlane Regional HS and received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Bradford College. A Direct Care Worker, she was employed by the Commonwealth of Mass., with the Dept. of Mental Retardation. She was co-owner with her husband of Fiore's Bar & Grill in Fall River, MA. She was a communicant of Holy Ghost Parish where she also taught CCD. She is also survived by her sons Vincent John Fiore and Nicholas James Fiore. In addition, she leaves a brother Andrew Marchand of Manchester, NH, a sister Amy Marchand Collins of East Providence, RI, along with several nieces and nephews.

    Beatrice "Bea" Eleanor (Williams) Morreo, 85, died peacefully Thursday, February 2nd, 2012, surrounded by family at her home in Brooksby Village.

    She was the daughter of the late Mamie (Lindholm) and Bill Williams. She resided during her childhood years in Middletown, New York. She was the wife of the late Daniel Anthony Morreo and she lived in Andover with him for 40 years. Survived by 5 children, Susan Birrell, Gail Bryant, Mark Morreo, Martha Wiley, and Dan Morreo; 10 grandchildren including Christy, Brittany, Joshua, Randall, Molly, Robbie, Heather, Nicole, Ali and Abbey; and one great granddaughter, Ella Grace. She will be missed.

  • Frances (Ryan) Fahy, 77

    Haverhill-Frances (Ryan) Fahy, 77, of Haverhill, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital after being stricken ill suddenly at home. Born in Rochester, NH, she was the daughter of the late, Herbert L. and Mary Ann (O’Sullivan) Ryan. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a Graduate of both, St. James Grammar and St. James High School, Class of 1952. Continuing her education, Frances attended Lowell State Teachers College and earned her Masters Degree. Mrs. Fahy, was employed in the Haverhill Public School system for thirty-years. She was the head teacher at the Smiley School, and later the head teacher at the Cogswell School in Bradford for over twenty years, until the school’s closing and her retirement in 1999. Frances married the love of her life, and shared fifty-four years with her husband, Neal. She shared her passion for the beach with her entire family, and for twenty-two years she and Neal enjoyed traveling and vacationing to Jamaica during winter breaks. The consummate educator, she was always attending to the needs of others. Frances enjoyed going out to lunch with friends and family and the inevitable shopping that followed. She loved her Victorian home, where everyone could be heard singing around the player piano at Christmas time. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She leaves her beloved husband, Neal P. Fahy, of Haverhill, two sons, Bryan P. Fahy, and his wife, Patricia, of Hampton Beach, NH, and Donal B. Fahy, of Haverhill, two daughters, Maura F., and her husband, Charles “Chip” Bailey, and Ellen F., and her husband, David L. Wood, all of Bradford, five cherished grandchildren, Charles, John, and Dallas Bailey, and Clint and Kyle Wood, two brothers, William H. Ryan, and his wife Maureen, of Haverhill, and Frank C. Ryan, of Ellsworth, ME, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Marjorie Goudreault.
