Salem, NH formerly of Lawrence — Irene (Jean) Logan, 82, of Salem, N.H., formerly of Lawrence, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, at her home at Greystone Farm in Salem, N.H., surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Methuen, Mass., and was the daughter of the late Ludger and Margaret (Hayes) Jean. Mrs. Logan loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will be left with so many happy memories.
She was raised and educated in Methuen and later moved to Lawrence. She retired from Lucent Technologies where she had worked for 28 years.
Mrs. Logan was the beloved wife of the late Andrew E. Logan and mother of the late Michael Logan.
She is survived by her son, Steven Logan of Lawrence; her daughters, Diane Hatem and her husband, Steven, of Salem, N.H., JoAnn Meli of Methuen and Shelly Hart and her husband, Thomas, of Oklahoma; her sisters, Carol Casey and her husband, Robert, of Londonderry, N.H., Peggy Gagnon and her husband, Arthur, of North Carolina and Shirley Poulin of Arizona. Nana will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Jimi, Katie, Chris, Nachele, George, Jessica, Jennifer and Amanda; and her great-grandchildren, Cote, Tyler, Maya, Ziniah, Andrew and Lila.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, June 23, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2013, at the Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Road, Salem, N.H.
