Frank "Lenny" Mosley, 71


Boca Raton, FL, Methuen, MA — Frank “Lenny” Mosley, 71, of Boca Raton Fla., and Methuen, Mass., passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, at his home following a long illness. He was born in Lowell and was the son of the late Frank and Susan (Cuccurullo) Mosley. Lenny was educated in Chelmsford schools and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School.

After High School Lenny enlisted in the Navy and served from 1959 to 1963 serving on the QM3 SS submarine. He returned from the navy and owned and operated New England Athletics, formerly Phil Murray & Sons on Jackson Street in Methuen for 30 years. Lenny was very active in the area and was a life member of Merrimack Golf Club, a member of the Chelmsford High School Alumni Association, and enjoyed traveling and golf.

Lenny is survived by his long time dear friend and companion of 23 years, Barbara Sammataro Merlino, of Methuen; three daughters, Kathleen Soule and her husband, Fred, of Sandown, N.H., Lisa Auer and her husband, Mark, of Danville, N.H., Jacqueline Pettit, of Brookfield, N.H.; two step sons, Michael Mosley, of Port St. Lucy, Fla., and John Mosley, of Arizona. Lenny also leaves 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and he is also survived by his sibling’s, a brother Fred Mosley, of Amherst, N.H., sisters, Doris Mosley, of Greenfield, N.H., Nancy Adams, of Billerica, and Lynda Wadleigh and her husband, Robert, of Bennington, N.H., and many nieces and nephews, and close friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends will be received at visiting hours on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. His funeral services will take place on Wednesday April 17, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bellevue Cemetery Lawrence.
