Steven E. Crocker, 60


Woburn — Steven Eugene Crocker, 60, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away at home on Sunday morning, April 21. He was the beloved husband of Debra (Corporon) Crocker.

Born and raised in Woburn, he was the son of the late James E. “Peewee” Crocker and the late Midge (Mitchell) Crocker. Steven was a true Woburnite and diehard Red Sox fan. He attended elementary school at the Goodyear School, middle school at the Kennedy, and high school at Woburn Memorial High School. He married the love of his life, Debra, in 1974. He was a machinist at Polaroid for many years until he was disabled at work in the early 1990s.

Steven enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a true nature-lover. He would often birdwatch on the deck of his backyard. Steven enjoyed spending time with his family and had a wealth of knowledge. He will be missed by many.

In addition to his wife, Debra, Steven is survived by two sons, Steven M. Crocker and wife, Pamela, and Adam Crocker; and one daughter, Samantha Crocker, all of Woburn; and one granddaughter, Emilee Crocker of Woburn. He is also survived by his brother, J. Scott Crocker and his wife, Leslie, of Salem, N.H.; and his sister, Cynthia (Crocker) Brady and her husband, Daniel, of Billerica. Steven is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones.

ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held at the Montvale Congregational Church, Central and Orange streets, Woburn, on Sunday, April 28, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Montvale Congregational Church, 36 Orange St., Woburn, MA 01801 or the One Fund Boston, Inc., 800 Boylston St., #990009, Boston, MA 02199.
