Megan S. Daley


Bradford — Megan S. Daley, 28, of Bradford, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 26, 2013.

Loving daughter of Daniel J. and Kathleen A. (Carbone) Daley of Bradford. Megan was born on August 9, 1984, in Haverhill and raised in the Bradford section. She was educated at Sacred Hearts School and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 2002. She continued her studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, graduating with a degree in Journalism in 2006. Megan also focused her studies on Japanese Culture and Language. While at UMASS, she worked as an Editor of the Daily Collegian. After graduation, Megan began her career with WIS Publications of Dedham as an Assistant to the Editor and presently was the Managing Editor of the SAP Insider, a WIS Publication.

Megan has been residing in Norwood for the past four years but always held strong ties to her home in Bradford. Her activities included hiking, biking, sharing time with friends and family in Bar Harbor, Maine and especially at the summer home of her aunt and uncle in New Hampshire known as “Camp Comei.” Megan shared a special place in her heart for her sisters and many cherished cousins.

Her family members include her adoring parents, Daniel J. and Kathleen A. (Carbone) Daley of Bradford; loving sisters, Caitlin Daley and Elizabeth Daley; maternal grandparents, Atillio and Virginia Carbone; paternal grandparents, William and Catherine Daley; many caring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held Monday morning, July 1, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main St., Bradford at 9 a.m.. Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main St., Bradford at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Visiting hours will be held Sunday in the funeral home from 3 to 7 p.m. Courtesy local transportation to the visitation will be provided on request by calling Patrick Driscoll at 978-374-0000.
