Violet A. (Parker) Garon, 89

Lawrence, MA — Violet A. (Parker) Garon, 89 of Lawrence, Mass., died Friday at Salemhaven Nursing Home, Salem, N.H., surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Walpole, N.H. She had lived in Lawrence for several years, previously living in Methuen, Mass. Mrs. Garon was an assembler for Raytheon Corp. She also sold Avon for 55 years and was always a top seller. She was a member of the First Church Congregational in Methuen. She volunteered at the MSPCA, the Methuen Senior Center, Elder Services, and at the Methuen voting polls. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Joseph Garon. She is survived by her sons, Joseph and his wife, Kathleen Garon of North Andover, Mass., Robert and his wife, Joy Garon of Salem, Peter and his wife, Emy Garon of Fife, Wash., Clark and his wife, Polly Garon of Westford, Mass.; daughters, Cassie Lambert of Salem, Mass., and Betsy Garon of Lawrence, Mass.; her brother, Richard Parker of Methuen; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be private for the family. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery, Tewksbury, Mass.
