Ocala, FL — Richard Joseph Cote, 70, of Ocala, Fla., passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013. He was born June 5, 1943, in Lawrence, Mass., and moved to Ocala in 2008. He was a veteran of the United States Marines and a union laborer for the Laborers Union, Boston Local 22. Mr. Cote was a member of Kairos of New Hampshire Prison Ministry Program. He is survived by his wife, Claudette Cote of Ocala; son, Keith Allan; stepson, Joseph Warren (Donna) of Salem, N.H.; two stepdaughters, Debbie Warren of Cape Canaveral, Fla., Lisa Warren of Melbourne, Fla.; two brothers, Eugene G. Cote of Chattanooga, Tenn., Albert R. Cote of Pelham, N.H.; sister, Marie Anne Monroe of Methuen, Mass.; grandchildren, Michael and Katie Warren; and friends, Charlie and Fern Peters, who worked closely with Richard in the Kairos Prison Ministry Program. He was predeceased by his son, Cory Belanger Cote. Cremation handled by Florida Cremation, Ocala.
