Doreen M. (Guy) Martini, 50


Bradford — Doreen M. (Guy) Martini, 50, of Bradford and formerly of Salem, died Sunday evening, October 7, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, after a long illness.

She was born in Salem, MA, October 5, 1962, daughter of Elsa (DiMambro) Guy-Fiske of Salem, and the late John W. Guy.

Educated in the Salem school system, Doreen graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1980. She was employed as a cook at Danvers State Hospital for over 9 years, and, more recently as a Job Coach for the Haverhill School System. Doreen treasured time spent with her family, was a member of Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford, an advocate for both ARC of Massachusetts and the Doug Flutie Foundation for Autism, a member of the Advocacy Committee for Coastal Connections and an avid artist.

She was the wife of the late Michael Martini who died in January of this year, stepdaughter of the late Robert Fiske, sister of the late Mark, David and John Guy, and step sister of the late Virginia Fiske. Besides her mother her survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline Martini of Bradford, a son, Jesse Martini of Bradford, two sisters, Elaine Guy and her husband Dwayne Stavros of Salem, Pamela Fraser and her husband Dan of Wells, ME, three brothers, Richard Guy of Hampton, NH, James Guy and his wife Donna of Beverly, Joseph Guy and his wife Lilly of Hudson, NH, and several nieces, nephews and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral on Friday morning, October 12, at 9 from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
