Gail A. Cantwell, 62

Lawrence, MA — Gail A. Cantwell, 62, a resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home in Lawrence.

Born in Lawrence, Gail was educated in the Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.

She had been employed by Gillette for 25 years. Gail enjoyed shopping at Walgreens and eating at Charlie's Diner. A parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Lawrence, Gail truly lived life fully through the simplest pleasures and will always be remembered for her special smile. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family and friends especially her nieces Erin and Britney. A special thank you goes out to Rose, Mario, and Kim of Salon 99 in Salem, NH for always making Gail feel beautiful. Another special thank you goes to her neighbors and especially her landlord Bob who always looked out for her. The family would also like to thank the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home for the kindness and support given to Gail especially during the last days of her life.

The daughter of the late Frank J. Cantwell, Sr. and Jeanette (Chretien) Cantwell as well as stepdaughter of the late Ann (Caracoglia Williams) Cantwell, members of Gail's family include:

brothers: Frank J. Cantwell, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Lawrence, MA, and William F. Cantwell of California, sisters: Sheila Wermers of New Hampshire, stepbrothers: Richard J. Williams of Gulfbreeze, FL, and Robert J. Williams of Tampa, FL, a stepsister: Deborah (Williams) Whatley of Lawrence, MA, as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Gail was also the sister of the late Rita L. Cantwell and Donald Begley.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick's Church, 118 So. Broadway, Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence, MA. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
