Mark "Whitey" White, 56 Years

North Andover, formerly of Andover — Mr. Mark “Whitey” White a resident of North Andover, formerly of Andover died at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill on Wednesday evening, November 28, 2012. He was 56 years old.

Born in Litchfield, Ill., he was the beloved son of Shirley (Coombs) White of Florida and the late Delmar White. Mark was employed by the Town of Andover for many years on the Cemetery Dept, Parks Dept and Tree Dept.  Whitey banded hawks for the U.S. Federal Government Fish and Wildlife Service. In his spare time Mr. White enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. He also enjoyed wildlife photography.

Besides his loving mother, Shirley, Mark will be very sorely missed by his girlfriend, Sheila A. McAllister of North Andover; daughter, Christie L. Blaine of North Andover; grandchildren, Fallon and Ryan Blaine; brother, Scott White of Lawrence; one niece; two nephews and many cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS: His memorial service will be celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, prior to the service, from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment will be private.
