Salem, NH — Donna Marie Lusignolo Mills of Salem, N.H., died on June 27. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Mary Juliano Lusignolo Sciarappa and Joseph F. Lusignolo, and stepdaughter to Domenic Sciarappa. She was the beloved wife of 49 years to Richard Mills of Salem and Punta Gorda, Fla., and formerly of Saugus, Mass. She was the loving mother of Donald Mills and partner, Scott Jackson of Lynnfield, Mass., and William Mills and wife, Linda of Sudbury, Mass.; cherished grandmother of Gregory Mills and Jaqueline Mills; and sister of Margaret A. Paulsen and husband, Richard of Lempster, N.H. She is also survived by her niece, Susan Richards of Tewsbury, Mass.; her nephew, Richard Paulsen III, of Maryland; numerous cousins; and her precious dog, Kia.
Donna grew up in Wakefield, Mass., and was a 1964 graduate of Wakefield High. She was a longtime employee at Careway Medical Supply in Wakefield, before a 27-year tenure at General Electric in Lynn, Mass., working in the shipping department, where she cultivated lifelong friendships with her coworkers. She loved her "Camp" in Salem, where many parties were hosted over the years, fond memories were made, and Donna always made people feel welcomed. Donna enjoyed simply sitting by the water at Arlington Pond with her dog, Kia, doing crossword puzzles, perusing yard sales with friends, and completing countless picture puzzles. Donna was generous, sweet, and very humorous, always offering guests "pickys," ice cream, food and drink to everyone that stopped by to visit. Donna was a joy to know and will be greatly missed by her family and all of her friends in Saugus, Salem and Punta Gorda. Donations in honor of Donna may be made to a favorite hospice.
ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of Donna's life will be held on July 13 at the "Camp" in Salem, N.H., from 1 to 6 p.m. All are welcomed.
