Atkinson, NH — Charles Louis Tremblay, 80, of Atkinson, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the Radius Healthcare Center in Danvers, Mass.
Charles was born and raised in Methuen and attended Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Mass., and the University of Lowell in Lowell, Mass. He was employed as an electrical engineer at Western Electric in North Andover, Mass., for over 30 years and then owned and operated Tremblay Vending until his retirement. Charles was a practicing Catholic and then began attending the Seventh-day Adventist Church a few years ago and was recently baptized into that faith. He lived in Atkinson, N.H., and spent winters in Barefoot Bay, on the east coast of Florida. He always loved spending time with his family, politics, crosswords, going to the beach, and playing games. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will never be forgotten.
Charles leaves his wife, Ruth (Lambert) Tremblay; and his children, Dale Begley of Nashua, N.H., Deborah Tremblay of Salem, N.H., Thomas Tremblay and his wife, Thayer. of Salem, N.H., David Tremblay and his wife, Candice. of Salem, N.H.; and his step-children, Christine Dearborn and her husband, Stephen, of Raymond, N.H., and Teri Greenleaf and her husband, Joseph. of Cleveland, Tenn.; sister, Rosemary Forcier of Newburyport, Mass., and predeceased by his brother, Paul Norman Tremblay; eight grandchildren, Jessica Thomson, Emily Greenleaf, Meagan Dearborn, Jake Tremblay, Olivia Tremblay, Jake Greenleaf, Evan Tremblay and Drew Tremblay; and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Friends are invited to call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013, at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
