Hampton, N.H. — Roberta R. “Betty” Roberts, 77, of Hampton, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at her home. She was born April 7, 1935 in Lawrence, a daughter of the late George and Yvonne (Perrault) Gosselin.
Mrs. Roberts was employed by Western Electric in North Andover, for 28 years retiring in 1986. She also was employed part time by the NH State Liquor Commission working as a clerk in the North Hampton store for over 10 years. She made her home in Hampton since 1980 coming from Haverhill and Andover, Mass. She exemplified love to all and her family was most important to her.
Family members include her husband, R. Weston Roberts of Hampton; two sons, Charles Forsythe and his wife Lisa of Fremont, Glenn Forsythe of Andover; three daughters, Kate Portrie and husband, Stephen of Hampton, her twin daughters, Cynthia Mulligan and husband, John of St. Cloud, Fla. and Constance Ferguson of Haverhill; her brother, William Gosselin and wife, Irene of Salem; her sister, Claire Wadlinger and husband, Joe of Topsfield; two sisters-in-law, Janice Gosselin of North Andover, Mary Gosselin of Kingsport, Tenn.; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, her twin, Robert Gosselin and George Gosselin.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2013 in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
