Salvatore F. Moschetto, 75

Methuen — Salvatore F. Moschetto, 75, of Methuen passed away Monday February 18, 2013 at Amesbury Village in Amesbury, MA with his family by his side.

Born in Lawrence, he was the son of Carmelo and Mary (Masessa) Moschetto and was a graduate of Lawrence High School with the class of 1955. Salvatore served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in April 1963. For 20 years he owned and operated Moschetto Leather sales in Haverhill. He enjoyed gardening, hosting cookouts, making his homemade italian sausage and spending quality time with his family.

He leaves his wife of 49 years, Barbara L. (Boutin) Moschetto of Methuen, and is survived by his children, Lisa A. Conran of Methuen, and Marc A. Moschetto and his wife, Kate of Millville; two brothers, Frank Moschetto and his wife, Linda of Salisbury, and John Moschetto and his wife, Kathy of Lawrence; grandchildren, Hunter, Taylor and Dalton Conran, Jacob, Grace and Samuel Moschetto. Salvatore also leaves his sister-in-law, Barbara (Martin) Moschetto and was predeceased by his brother, Charles Moschetto.

Salvatore’s family would like to thank the staff of Amesbury Village for all their comfort and care to Salvatore.

ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made in Salvatore’s name to Amesbury Village, 22 Maple Street, Amesbury, MA. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Augustine Chapel in Lawrence.
