Theresa Arasi, 77

Methuen — Theresa (Iannalfo) Arasi, 77, of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Penacook Place in Haverhill. Theresa was born in Lawrence, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Borelli) Iannalfo. She was educated in Methuen, and worked for Grieco Brothers for 18 years as an office clerk.

Theresa's generosity and kind heart were an inspiration to the lives that she touched. Her happy spirit, unwavering faith, hospitality, and love of life characterized her in health and in sickness. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking and baking, and times spent with family and friends.

Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Peter Arasi of Methuen; her daughters, Debra-Ann Vallario and her husband, Michael, of Methuen, and Donna Gudinas and her husband, Danny, of Hampstead, N.H.; her two grandchildren, Brandon Vallario and Rory Gudinas; her sisters, Joyce DeLuca and her husband, Al, of Methuen, and Marilyn Prior of Goshen, N.H.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Elaine Bonanno.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, August 7, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, August 8, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Lucy’s Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
