Belchertown, MA — William P. Blouin, 66, passed away on March 10, 2014. He was born March 17, 1947, in Lawrence, Mass., son of Lucien and Doris (McGuire) Blouin. Bill was raised in Methuen and worked in the Lawrence area textiles for many years as a textile engineer. He moved to Belchertown 13 years ago. He retired from the United States Postal Service as a postal carrier. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and traveling to Yellow Stone National Park.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Hardaker-Blouin of Belchertown; stepsons, Dave Boudreau (Tara) of Wilbraham and William Boudreau (Jennifer) of Rindge, N.H. He will also be missed by a sister, Judy Ann Babb of Belchertown; brother, Robert Blouin of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Reagan, Ryan, Madelyn and Aubrey; and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m. at Hope United Methodist Church. Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
