Methuen — Theodore J. “Freddie” Kibit, 81, of Methuen passed away Friday, June 7, at Lawrence General Hospital.
He was born in Cambridge, Mass., September 24, 1931, to the late John T. and Alexandra (Hichun) Kibit.
Freddie was educated in Cambridge and Arlington, graduating from Arlington High School, Class of 1949.
He was employed as a printer with the Schraffts Candy Co. in Charlestown, as well as Daniels Printing in Everett. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and going to his camp in the White Mountains.
He was the husband of the late Lorraine (Brown) Kibit, who died in 2005. He is survived by his children, Lynne M. and her husband, James, DePaolo of Stowe, Vt., John T. Kibit and his partner, Leonard Brilliante, Barbara A. and her husband, John, O’Neil, William J. Kibit and his wife, Maureen, all of Bradford, Lauren T. Fitzsimmons and her boyfriend, William Page, of Methuen; 11 grandchildren, Cindy, Michael, Mark, Patrick, Brian, Conor, Amanda, Emily, Benjamin, Steven, and Kelsey; and four great-grandchildren, Jackson, Colton, Oliver, and Penelope. He was also the father of the late Denise A. Kibit, and brother of the late Eugenia Krutchkoff.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service on Tuesday, June 11, at 7:15 p.m., at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., Bradford. A visitation period will precede the Funeral on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home.
