Lawrence, MA — Paulino "Pablo" Morales, 78, died April 26, 2013, at Colonial Heights Care and Rehabilitation in Lawrence. Paulino was born on April 24, 1935, in Arroyo, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Rivera and Placida Morales. He attended local schools in Arroyo and graduated from High School before immigrating to the United States, where he resided in Lawrence for more than 50 years.
He was employed by Leewood Corp., and later Malden Mills as a machine operator for 20 years, before his retirement in 1990.
Paulino coached and managed teams for the Central Little League for well over 20 years. He enjoyed wrestling and was a fan of all New England sports teams especially his beloved Red Sox.
Paulino is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathleen Ann (Smith) Morales, of Methuen; children, Rosa Morales Walker, of Methuen, Paul Morales Jr. and his wife, Reina, of Methuen, John Morales and his wife, Maria, of Methuen, and Chris Morales and his wife, Victoria, of Salem, N.H., his godson, John Veysey, of Lawrence, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The Morales family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Colonial Heights and to nurses at Merrimack Valley Hospice for the exceptional care given to Paulino.
