Anne K. (Johnston) Perrault, 71

West Newbury — Anne K. (Johnston) Perrault, 71, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in the Merrimack Valley Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the loving wife of Francis E. Perrault with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. Francis’s devotion to his wife, Anne through her illness truly represents the vows he and Anne exchanged “through sickness and in health.” He spoke those words and he meant them.

Born in Agawam on July 5, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Emory and Esther (Meyer) Johnston.

She was a resident of West Newbury for the past 50 years and had previously resided in Agawam as a young girl. She was a graduate of St Ann’s in Arlington and also attended Macintosh Business School in Haverhill. She was a full-time mother but did hold several part-time jobs over the years. Anne worked at the Hess in Haverhill, formerly known as Charter’s and will be surely remembered for the friendly and kind disposition that she displayed to all. She also worked at Knapp’s Florist and Pentucket Regional Jr. High School in West Newbury.

Anne enjoyed sewing, knitting and antique shopping. She loved the outdoors, the beach and was especially fond of boating and whale watch excursions. Anne loved to spend time with her grandchildren especially at their sporting events where she was their biggest cheerleader. Anne was a person who loved people and that was what made her so special.

She is also survived by her seven children, Suzanne and her husband, Paul Andrukaitis, and Emory and his wife, Betsy Perrault all of Newton, N.H., Mark W. and his wife, Ann Marie Perrault of Plaistow, N.H., Laurie Perrault, Danielle and her husband, Phillip Karampatsos, and Jason Perrault and his companion Jennifer Chapin all of Haverhill and Nicole Perrault of Bradford; eight grandchildren, Cameron and Courtney Andrukaitis, Melissa and Daniel Perrault, Ryan and Kyle Perrault and Shantel and Deborah Karampatsos and a sister, Esther Foley of Jacksonville, Fla.
